The atmosphere was fun and the food was delicious. Had a chance to meet AJ and he’s working his ass off on the pit. Highly recommended. Will be back. ”
“ Fantastic hidden gem. This restaurant is directly next door to the railroad. We went for The North Pole Express and decided to pay to park in AJ's lot. The smell coming from the restaurant was so good we knew we were going to be having dinner there. The place is small and comfortable. There's indoor and outdoor patio seating The food is out of this world. My daughter and I shared the catfish and it is the best catfish I have ever had. The breading was delicious and not too thick. The fries are great. The cocktails are so good..... try the Mules, they have a variety of them. I don't have a photo of the full menu because they offer a limited menu during the North Pole Express busy season. Grapevine is a wonderful city with a lot to offer. It's worth a visit and when you're there or at the Great Wood Lodge go visit AJ's, you'll be glad you did. I can't wait to go back and try the smoked brisket or pulled pork. ”
